The first few days I was here I really did not feel much, but I kept pressing in! A couple days later I was released  from a spirit of grief! Then, a few days later the power of God really touched me BIG TIME! Two consecutive days in the morning the fire of God came inside my body. The first time the fire was so overwhelming that I had to go outside for fresh air. The breeze felt like cooling water. God was supernaturally showing me the things of heaven! I felt as I was walking in the realm of heaven here on earth! It was like a slow dream like what you see in movies. I was mesmerized by the trees and grass and butterflies.

I walked down the side walk as if so high in Gods presence. I saw miracles happen right in front of my eyes! The next day my heart burned with an intense compassion. I literately felt my heart on fire and it was racing really fast! A glow came upon my skin, and my eyes grew wide from enlightenment. I’ve felt holy spirit possessed since I been here, and that’s very wonderful because that was my prayer before even knowing I was going to come here. I feel like my mind is soaking in the word and eating and loving it! I feel like my brain is growing! The spirit of God has kept me in perfect peace and we have walked simultaneously for days!  I have grown in boldness and my fear is driving out! The anointing has also hit me at night while sleeping and in places outside the church. I have been able to carry it out with me past these four walls and I will continue to put it into practice…Melissa P.

Rodney Pastor Rodney, after you offered our family the scholarships on Fourth of July weekend, the Lord told me to step out of the boat, not look at the waves, not to listen to the thunder, not to fear the lightening, to keep my eyes, mind and heart wholly focused on Him and to just RUN, that he would open the windows of heaven.

My wife and I were both working at Shands Hospital fulltime, the first time in our 17 ½ year marriage that we had a two person, full-time income, making the most money annually that we had ever made since being married.  Previously, one of us had either been in school furthering our education and my wife had been a stay at home mom with our two children.  The day we gave our resignations, we received a phone call from newly acquired friends that live in Ruskin, offering us the opportunity to rent a house of theirs for only $300 a month, the cost of the insurance.  We arrived at the house the weekend before school started.  Since coming to  RBI we have grown so much and even though we had to put our children into Florida Virtual School because of the atmosphere of the public schools they are zoned for here, we know and believe that this will be a wonderful year and that the Lord will continue to bless them and us.

RBI has changed my life completely.  I grew up in the church and in revival with this ministry since 1993 in Carpenters Home church.  That’s where I was saved, in those meetings.  But it wasn’t until years later when I went to RBI that I learned to fully grasped start to grasp the word and the things of God for myself.  Now that I have one year of RBI under my belt I know that I have a better handle on what Christianity is all about…. And what the heartbeat of God is all about…souls. And I now have a better view on the provision of God because I’ve seen it firsthand for me as well as other people that I have been able to help and bless along the way.

God’s birthed a whole new boldness in me that has blossomed in soul winning on the streets and on the phones as well.  I love to witness… where before I was too scared to even think of walking up to a stranger just to say hello.   God’s brought me out of my shell into what He’s had for me all along…and I know that it’s only the start of what He has for me.  He’s slowly showing me what my callings are in Him,  and that is something I’ve been believing Him to find out for a very long time.  I know that I am called to kids and  youth. And I’m also called to worship and teaching as well.  God is really showing me how He is building a strong foundation in me that will not be shaken when these end times come.  And so I’m determined to let the fire of God purify me now more than ever.  All for God, Nothing else, and def, nothing less. ….Melissa A.

I came to The River church last year February, and stated RBI in August 2010. Before coming here I had been a believer for almost ten years but had never experienced anything like what I saw in the River. The first was the soul winning script that made easy for me to lead people to the lord something I have struggled with for so long. The greatest day of my life was the RBI revival of 2010.

I got touch and laugh like a mad woman, what you have to understand is that before I came here I was a believer but bound Like Lazarus when he came out of the grave. I was bound with fear self pity confusion rejection just to name a few. But August 23rd 2010 something happened that turn my whole life around. Pastor Rodney called me out of the crowd and lay his hands on me and i started laughing, because I had hardly laughed before, my rips started cracking up I laugh for 24 hours.

I got home at almost midnight and my land lady was still awake when I walked in she looked at me and screamed and i was wondering what had happened to her so I ask her and she said immediately I walked in she saw light on my fore head and she shouted I have joy and she started laughing  before I know she was speaking in tongues ,You have to Understand that my Landlady is a staunch catholic and will even hardly laugh I was amazed with what I was seeing but did not have the time to figure it out because I was over whelmed with joy so we both laugh our heads off till 1 AM. That is the things that keep rolling over in my spirit over and over. I’ve been in this move of God since 1994. I’ve touched by the Lord many times. But I’ve always wanted the shortcut. I wanted things to be easier. That’s the way I figures things should become easier once you came to the Lord, but I had it twisted when It came character, there is no short cut. That’s why many are called but few chosen. Bitterness, anger, backbiting, slander.

These things have no place in those who want to do great things for God. If you want your oil to be pure, you’ve got to get rid of the impurities. You can’t fight your own battles. The old life has to be left behind. Surrender is the key phrase. Yes it takes time but it can be done by the help of the Holy Spirit. I’m so glad the Lord called these meetings.

With us constantly being in the presence of the Lord, The Holy Ghost constantly shines the light on our darkness. But you’ve got to want change. I want change. I want to be awakened. I want to be revived. The Spirit of the Lord also letting me knows that everyone is important. The Lord makes no throw away people. The Spirit of the Lord reveals to me that we often say to people, has anyone ever told you that the Lord loves you. But now I really say it with conviction.

Testimony:   We went soulwinning on Friday; we found the complex but could not get in through the drive through gate. I got out of the car to go through the walk in gate and a lady was coming. She yelled hold the gate for me please. As she passed me, I stopped her and looked her in the eyes saying,” Has anyone told you today that the Lord loves you?” She said, “No.” I proceeded to say the script. Led her to Jesus and got her filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Clincher……… She said I saw you in a dream last night. She was crying, saying it was you in the dream. I knew you were coming.  Bless me so. I will never forget the Love of God knew that I would be there in that place for that woman at that time. That’s the love that makes me sing… -Dollean M

I have been working the winter camp meetings in the security team. I wish that I could just sit in the meetings and just worship, but the anointing is so strong at the night meetings. Pastor Rodney has been teaching on the anointing and doctrine of baptism by fire. The peoples hunger has been explosive for the things of God. The atmosphere of miracles has been created by peoples hunger level. I have been watching, the glory of God fall in the sanctuary as people get delivered from devils, and various heart conditions been healed.

Pastor Rodney had various speakers declare their testimonies across the air ways. The worship seems like it just doesn’t stop people are very hungry, with the expectation of a strong move of God. People across all 50 states have been winning souls for Jesus. People are catching the vision of the great commission, and all countries around the world are going to receive an impartation from the meetings. I believe that we are setting a path, of a great awakening as sleeping saints are awakened to the sound of revival.

People are tuning in to the telecast given their lives to Jesus Christ, and being set ablaze from the inside out. We are getting testimonies of people calling in on the telecast who are getting healed and baptized in the Holy Ghost! We have been experiencing a great revival that is spreading like wild fire across the world. I have never seen services like this in America, and I have been in a lot of meetings and this is wonderful.  –Daniel W.

Three words to express this week are: HOLY, HOLY, HOLY…  The most important thing to remember is; “stay hungry and thirsty for the things of God!  Every time I am worshipping the Lord I am pressing into His presence. When we are in His presence that is where he can touch us and change us. This week I went to a new level. I want all God has for me. I am fulfilling the great commission. Mark 28:16-20.  This is a SOUL-A-THON.. You have to choice the world or heaven, you can not have both. Be humble, thirsty and hungry, and he will do the work in you. So He can do His work through you. It is about getting clean with the blood of Jesus. We can all live clean. The blood keeps me clean and holy. I am here to bring souls into the kingdom.  Acts 19:1- the bible tells me if I am a believer in Acts 19:  I can be baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire to be a witness.

Fire gives you power and boldness to “GO YE”.  Judges 1:13 says; “Out of your body” will flow water of “living water”.  Once you know there is a well of living water in you, you will not want to sin. I laid it all on the altar, it will set you free. Devil puts a dam to stop you up. I am a dam buster, to bust up the things of the world off Gods people. Every week I hit the streets. I have a testimony of how God used me to speak into someone’s life. This week I was out with a team of new, who had never gone soul winning. I was drawn to a lady parked in a purple car, “Nice” car. As I walked up to her “she said please stay away I am so sick”! I didn’t say anything,” like well I am from the rive church, let me pray fro you”, said nothing. She appeared to be eating. She apologized and I turned away and went to talk to some other people. I walked away because I was listening to what the Holy Spirit told me. My team of newbie’s did not understand, and at the time I didn’t explain.

We evangelized around this park where she was parked, for about 20 minuets. when I heard her call me to come over to her car. When I walked over, she asked me to pray for her brother, who was in jail. I said sure I can pray for your brother. Well the Holy Ghost had arrested her! I began to pray for her healing in her body, prayed prayer of blessing over her and her family.  This tough woman began to soften; the love of Jesus was coming out of me and touched her. She filled up with tears. I lead her into the prayer of salvation; she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior.

Her whole demeanor changed. She said I know God and so does my brother. I told her when she called upon the name of the lord; she was saved and born again. Jesus just wants to have a relationship with you, and you are a work in progress till the day you go home to be with the Lord! The last thing I said to her was, “ok now I will pray for your brother”!!   Listening and yielding to the Holy Ghost is important. If I had pressured this lady she would have left… Amen  -Leslie N.

What is the best thing about Christmas morning, your birthday, or an anniversary? Getting the gifts! Your eyes light up, there is a joy in your heart, you are just over all happy. Because of how much thought, time, effort and cost the person put into the gift. Well we have being given the best gift, that never wears out, gets old, dirty or lost. You maybe asking what is it that I am speaking about, it’s the Holy Spirit.

Jesus gave Himself to us, then He gave someone that will always be there to help us. In John 14, it says that the Holy Spirit is our comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengthener and standby. He is all of those things and more to us. He is your best friend. So, all you have to do is accept the gift. How cool is it that God us such an awesome gift and we have to do nothing for it, but accept it. The Holy Spirit is not a language, but a person. He is the one that gives us the ability, boldness, and power to go tell others about Jesus.

As Pastor Rodney has been teaching on the Holy Spirit this week, people are coming to know Him for the first time. They are realizing how great He is. And just how much we need Him in our day to day lives. Without the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. He prays for and through us when we don’t know what to say. When we have conflicts He gives strength.

The disciples, were waiting for Him, they didn’t know who or what was coming. They just waited expecting, and that is how we have to be. As they stayed focused on Jesus, the Holy Spirit came and endowed them with power. (Acts 1:8). And that power compelled them to go out and tell people what had just happen. The Holy Spirit will always guide you by the Bible and never led you away. The same Holy Spirit that came in Acts is the same one today!!! –Teresa T.

I’m so excited about what God’s doing through CTN. The other day I helped out with phone ministry. At first I wasn’t sure how I would like it, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Once you start it’s hard prying yourself away from the phones as call after call comes in. As soon as you put the phone down there’s another call waiting for you!

It was awesome being able to give out what I receive on a regular basis through this ministry. One man I talked to received the baptism in the Holy Ghost and started speaking with other tongues. He was so excited, when I went to say goodbye he was still going! One lady who called in for prayer sounded really down and sad, but God touched her with joy and she laughed her way off the telephone. It was so awesome being able to pray for people over the phone like that.

As I begin to give out the Lord began to fill me up. People called for all different things. Some just wanted prayer just to have prayer, some needed a healing in their body, some called for other people. What I loved most was it seemed just about everybody that called was hungry and expectant to receive their miracle. It was great being used by the Holy Ghost in this way. The first week of Great Awakening at the River Tampa Bay was very exciting. It is a grate blessing to see the beginning of the mighty move of God. On the first meeting the present of God was so intense and so strong. I could feel tension in the atmosphere. It was like seconds before big nuclear explosion. I could just say: Wow! Just after that deferent persons ware giving testimonies of the same thing they felt in spirit. It is truly the beginning of incredible move of God not only here in Florida but also across US and around the world. It is a honor for me to take part of it. The thing that touched me was the power of the simple message of the Gospel. The testimonies from people touched on the streets of the city and reports form call center and from all over the web show it best. Holy Spirit is moving the same in the houses of people connected by satellite and internet as on the meetings. The same Jesus keeps changing lives in hundreds of deferent locations and it do not take so much to be part of it because everyone can join and become the God’s worker bringing harvest of souls of the end times. – Pawel P.
