Created, Called and Raised in Righteousness

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11 KJV

This Greek word translated “pleasure” means desire, pleasure, or will. All things were created and exist according to God’s will and desire, and to please Him.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV

This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. Genesis 5:1-2 NKJV

God made mankind in His own image – in the image of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – and Heblessed them the day they were created.

Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him. Isaiah 43:7 NKJV

This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise. Isaiah 43:21 NKJV

Our – and all mankind’s – ultimate purpose is to bring God glory and declare His praise.

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them. Psalms 89:11 NKJV

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. 15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. Psalms 89:14-15 NKJV

God created all things and they are established in His righteousness, mercy and truth. The only way for the whole earth to thrive and prosper is by his mercy and through His righteousness and truth.

I have made the earth, And created man on it. I — My hands — stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded. 13 I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward,” Says the Lord of hosts. Isaiah 45:12-13 NKJV

God declares here that it is He who made the earth and created man on it. He did not create us for evil or to do what we wish, but He created us for righteousness and to serve His purposes.

Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: 6 “I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,

As a light to the Gentiles, 7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. 8 I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. 9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:5-9 NKJV

Jesus was called in righteousness to fulfill His purpose, which was to destroy the works of the devil and to redeem mankind. Because He was raised from the dead in righteousness, we too, have been the righteous of God in Christ. God has a wonderful plan and purpose for each of us. From the moment we are made righteous, God’s ultimate plan for each of us kicks in. we are created in righteousness to BE righteous and to DO good works that glorify God.

Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another By profaning the covenant of the fathers? Malachi 2:10 NKJV

The same God created all of mankind. We honor our Creator and act righteously when we love one another and treat one another with kindness and generosity. We dishonor Him when we are unfaithful and treacherous toward our neighbor. Who is your neighbor? Jesus says everyone is your neighbor, not just the people you like and trust.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 NKJV

We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God planned for us to walk in! Not for anything else.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Colossians 3:9-11 NKJV

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God. Our New Man is recreated once again in the image of our Creator when we are born again. We must make a conscious decision to put off the Old Man and then to put on the New Man. We must stop acting like the devil is our father and start acting like Jesus and our own Heavenly Father, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:19 NKJV

Keep doing good – even when the pressure is on for you to quit and give up; even when your good deeds result in persecution and suffering. Commit your soul to your Creator – the One who made you – He is faithful and will see you through and reward you for your faith and your faithfulness.

Changing State

After those two full years, Joseph experienced a significant point in his life—on a day that appeared like every other day. That morning dawned like each other morning over the prior 2 years. Like the morning that dawned before Moses saw the burning bush.

like the morning that dawned before David was anointed by Samuel as the king-elect. For Joseph, yet another dungeon day—except for one small matter Joseph knew nothing about : the evening before Pharaoh had a bad dream. The king of the land had a dream, and in it he saw 7 fat, graceful cattle coming up out of the marshy Nile delta. Then 7 foul, thin, starving cows came up from the same stream and devoured the fat, sleek cows. Pharaoh awoke, maybe thinking that large meal he’d eaten before he went to bed wasn’t setting too well on his stomach.

Before long he dropped back to sleep, and his dream continued. This time he saw a stalk of grain with 7 plump and healthy ears. But then 7 lean ears, scorched from the east wind, sprang up and devoured the 7 healthy ears of grain. When Pharaoh heard that there had been someone around who could let him know what this discouraging dream meant, he naturally related, “Go get the man.”.

Talk about comprehensive integrity This was Joseph’s moment in court, his wonderful opportunity to point out, “Do you realize that I may have been out of that place 2 years back if that dummy standing right over there hadn’t forgotten me?” But there was none of that. You know why Joseph may be so humble and talk so openly? Because his heart had been damaged. Because he’d been attempted by the fire of affliction. Because while his external circumstances seemed nearly intolerable during those years, his internal condition had been turned into pure gold. We are now witnessing the advantages of enduring affliction with one’s eyes on God.

TIME TO GROW UP

I went to school barefoot till the 4th grade, and I was still playing childish games when I was in high school. Life was permitted to run its own course back then. There’s a new child in our town streets. Music, books, films, and TV increasingly portray the young as precocious and seductive. Feelings and feelings are the most intricate and complicated part of a kid’s development.

Rodney Howard Browne explains that they have their own timing and rhythm, which can’t be hurried. Growing up is hard enough with no-one pushing.

Am I overreacting to proffer the unique traumas among today’s children are somehow tied to all this? Younger and younger alcoholics. Rodney Howard Browne points out to the record high suicide rate among children and teens is definitely telling us something. If nothing else, at least for those youngsters, it’s informing us we are reacting too late.

Rodney Howard Brown explains that scripture obviously states, “There is an appointed time for everything” Eccles. What about time to be a child? What about time to reach adulthood slowly, carefully yes, even protected, naive? Otherwise, it is too far, too quickly, too shortly.

God’s Wonder

If anyone knew about bigoted treatment, about a fake indictment, about being a trusting victim on the receiving end, it was Joseph. Rodney Howard Browne explains that, first, he got prejudiced treatment from his folks. His siblings hated him, wanted to kill him, but sold him into slavery instead. He changed into a slave in a country where he did not even know the language. One minute he was a seventeen-year-old boy with his entire life before him, and the subsequent he was completely in the power of—actually the property of—some stranger.

Following all that, he was falsely charged. After earning the favor of his master, Potiphar, the master’s wife attempted to seduce Joseph. When he did not submit to her wishes, she lied and expounded, “This slave attempted to rape me.” as a consequence of her lies, he was unjustly put in jail and abandoned. Remember those words from Isaiah’s pen as he repeats God’s message? Nor are your tactics My ways,” declares the LORD.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,. There’s a vast difference between “My thoughts” and “your thoughts” claims the Lord. “My ways” aren’t like “your ways.” they’re higher ; they are much more surpassing, deep, mysterious—and I would add, surprising. Rodney Howard Browne teaches that our human techniques are based mostly on what appears fair. We forcefully believe that when a person does what’s right, rewards and blessings result.

When somebody does what’s wrong, there are serious results, even punishment. Rodney Howard Browne teaches that God is been known to permit bigoted treatment to happen in the lives of fully trusting folks—for reasons much more surpassing and deep than they or we might have imagined.

Living Life to the Fullest

Living Life to the Fullest by Rodney Howard Browne

Mrs Rhonda Alps, 89 years of age, died alone in her home on a Sat. . When the state authorities made their initial inquiry of Mrs Alps’ home, they found a undoubted “pigpen. The largest mess you can imagine.” The girl had pleaded food from neighbors’ back doors and gotten what clothing she had from the Sally Army.

Amid the jumble of her soiled, disheveled effects, the officers found 2 keys to safe-deposit boxes at 2 different local banks. In the 1st box were over seven hundred ATT stock certificates, and hundreds of other valuable certificates, bonds, and solid fiscal stocks, not to mention a pile of money adding up to nearly $200,000. Adding the net worth of both boxes, they found well over 1 million dollars.

The radio correspondent commented the estate would doubtless go to a distant niece and nephew, neither of whom dreamed their aunt had a thin dime to her name. Don’t you wonder about this woman? Why, oh, why would anyone salt away all that bread in 2 small boxes, month after month, year by year, and refuse to spend even enough for food to remain alive? Fact is, Rhonda Alps wasn’t saving her cash ; she was worshiping it.

Gaining a twisted satisfaction out of watching the stacks grow higher as she shuffled along the streets wearing the garb of a beggar. Rodney Howard Browne explains that it is okay to be a firm follower in saving, investing, intelligent spending, and smart money management. Never have I seen one who could dream broad dreams or see huge visions of what God can do despite man’s restrictions.

Magnanimous giants with God who get pumped up about deserting themselves to Him. The name of the game isn’t CAUTION, it’s still VISION, isn’t it? Appears like I read somewhere that those without it perish. Rodney Howard Browne points out that when they buried Rhonda Alps, she did not take a penny with her.

God can still Love me

Rodney Howard Browne shows us an oak tree

Have you been honestly stunned at some of the thoughts running thru your intelligence during periods of intense regret? Let us take a fast look at some results of this threatening “game.” Pastor Rodney Howard Browne shares that we may wonder at our regrettable behaviour and think, there is no way I may actually be forgiven – God can’t still love me after I acted this way. 2nd , guilt breeds fear – fear of discovery and results, to name a pair. The Demon would like for you to keep looking over your shoulder ; that way, you can not keep your eyes on where you are going. We may start to isolate ourselves or drive folks away as we feel undeserving of their love. Just as in war, an infantryman standing alone is a fat target for the Enemy.

If I were a better Christian, I would not have done that. If you are wrestling with the issue of guilt, I pray that you’re going to leave your remorse where you are standing and attest these 3 things : I am special. Rodney Howard Browne advises to say them out loud as a prayer of praise to God : Say them repeatedly, letting the words sink into your consciousness. Jesus would like you to be an active infantryman for Him. Don’t let the Enemy take you out of the battle.

Have you been honestly startled at some of the thoughts running through your intellect in occasions of intense regret? We’ll take a fast look at some results of this threatening “game.” First, guilt has the capability to shake our ideology’. We may wonder at our unlucky behaviour and think, there’s no way I am in a position to actually be forgiven – God can’t still love me after I acted this way. Rodney Howard Brown warns that guilt breeds fear – fear of discovery and implications, to name a pair.

The Devil would like for you to keep looking over your shoulder ; that way, you can’t keep your eyes on where you are going. We may begin to isolate ourselves or drive folks away as we feel undeserving of their love. Just as in war, an infantryman standing alone is an enormous fat target for the Enemy. A guilty conscience naturally finishes up in thinking, I’m really not quite adequate. If I were a better Christian, I wouldn’t have done that.

If you are wrestling with the issue of guilt, I pray that you will leave your remorse where you are standing and attest these 3 things : I’m special. Say them out loud as a prayer of praise to God : Say them regularly, letting the words sink into your consciousness. Do not let the Enemy take you out of the battle.

Share What You Have Learned

The Bible is chock-full of godly beliefs by which our Lord wants us to live. I would like to share some of the most vital lessons God has taught me. I could certainly mention many others, but these have been very impressed on my heart. The most liberating truth I have discovered is that we will not live the Christian life.

This may be done only by Christ living thru us. There had been a point in time when I was battling to try my best but continually failing. I went to my knees one night and did not get up till God uncloaked the meaning of John 15:4 Jesus claimed the branch abides in the vine. To explain, we’re not alone in this Christian life.

God does not intend for us to perform better to delight Him ; rather ; He wants us to depend on His strength so that he will be able to live thru us. One thing I frequently say is that we must obey God and leave the implications to Him. To do that always needs bravery, but it is simpler when we have cultivated dependence on Him. We build reliance first by concentrating to God. We won’t separate obedience from listening to Him – otherwise we could not recognize the following step He wants taken. In addition, to turn over the implications of our obedience, we must trust God.

We fear what may occur if we trust Him, but the power of the vine is acceptable to brace the branch’s miniscule religion and tackle the result of obedience. The final result is a deserving crop of fruit.

Make His Name Known

There are 3 questions that everybody should be able to answer properly : Who is the one true God? What is He like? And is it feasible to have a private relationship with Him? Across the history of humankind, numerous folk of all countries have been haunted by these questions. When the apostle Paul was in Athens, he supplied answers for the people there by evangelizing about Jesus. Today, Christians continue to share about Jesus as it is God’s will that each single person have the right answer to those 3 questions. ( one Timothy 2:3-4 ). Think about all of the faiths of the Earth and what quantity of people are concerned in those myriad faiths. Most live in fear, doubt, and darkness. Imagine we are walking into church Sun. morning and sitting before a giant statue of bronze or gold. We would sing some songs, then take up an offering and lay it on the foot of the statue.

After singing many further tunes, we return to our homes. What would we carry home with us? What guarantee could we claim? . There would be no joy, peace, or guarantee in this life or the life to come as we bowed down to something that is dead and unable to hear us.
We followers know the true God. There’s a sector of folks out there who long to know Jesus, but they haven’t heard about Him. Don’t be content to just live your Christian life. Find some way to share your peace and joy with some other person.

Bravery in the midst of the Powerful

According to Pharaoh’s instructions, the Hebrew midwife was to observe closely as the baby appeared. She was right away to discover the sex of the kid as it came forth from the womb and to snuff out its life if she noticed it definitely was a male—possibly suffocating the tiny boy before he ever let out his first cry. These women feared God more than they feared the laws of the king. The word “vigorous” means “lively.” They told a scowling, sad Pharaoh, “My, oh my, King, these girls are fast. When we hear they are about to give birth, we speed over to the house and zip, pop, it’s over.

The baby’s already there, and then what can we do?”. Pharaoh, who may not have appreciated the graphic details of birth any more than I do, acquired the entire thing. Who was he to debate with these strong-hearted midwives? Fortunately, these 2 bold girls, as Scripture would later say of Moses’ own fogeys, “were not terrified of the king’s edict” ( Hebrews 11:23 ). Praise God for such bold folk of religion.

To this day, from Africa to China to the Middle East, that very same bravery shines out like a beacon. All around the planet as you read these words, God’s folk are being hounded and persecuted for their loyalty to Jesus Christ. And they’re standing fast in the face of edicts from kings, presidents, generals, and party commissars. They’re announcing, “No, we can’t do the things you are asking us to do. We refuse to reject our Lord.” And they’re paying the final cost.

The Sinner Within Us

When we set our minds on things of the flesh – those sinful perspectives, ideas, and habits in our life – we are decreeing death to the things of God. That what makes such wants tough to resist is that they are natural and involve common worldly desires like cash, sex, prominence, and power. But Scripture claims the natural man does not receive the things of God.
( one Corinthians 2:14 ) simply because something is natural or “only human” does not mean it is right. Notice that there’s little wrong with eating, but the Bible considers greed sinful. ( Proverbs 23:20-21 ) neither is there anything unethical about sex when it is practiced in the boundaries God gave us. So long as appetites and wishes are subdued and brought under the subjection of the Holy Spirit, our fellowship with God can continue harmoniously. When yearnings are unrestrained our closeness and communication with the Lord is impeded. To give control of our life over to the Holy Spirit, we’ve got to be convinced that we won’t live justly in our own strength.

Many of us already know we are striving to live in a God-pleasing demeanour ; to fix the situation, we must surrender our complete being to Him – mind, will, emotion, and conscience. Ask Him to bare areas of weakness, and then give each frailty to the Lord as it comes to light. This is something that must be done not once, but each day. Each morning when you wake up, it’s sensible to hope, “Father, today I am completely Yours.
I cannot live the Christian life, but You can live thru me.”.
