That was 1 st time out. One guy laying in bed didn’t want to hear, didn’t want to be bothered told you to go away, but he(Charlie) prayed for his heart to be softened, and he prayed the prayer, received Jesus and wanted to keep talking. One guy was curled up in the bed, he couldn’t speak or barely move, he was gargling in his throat. I went through and presented the gospel. “he can’t hear you” responded to me but he accepted Christ Praise the Lord – God is sooo great! I have gone on outreach at Sanford and with Brazillian Church and I have been to River Church meetings,too and all were sooo AWESOME! I love to see people changed right in front of you – by Nothing that you have done….It’s all God! But what God revealed to me is the different ways that the Holy Spirit showes up for different bodies of believers! Because different bodies have different needs and strengths, and because the Holy Spirit wants only to reveal to us how to keep Him lifted up and to keep Him in focus!! not to let things distract from that…. nothing at all. Jesus is Worthy and Holy and it’s our only job to make room for Him – He’ll do all the rest, when we let Him. I am so grateful that Pastor Rodney is faithful to follow the Lord’s voice and Awaken the People! in His service, LizG

I’m 16 yrs old. I was at the revival in Miami and was totally touched by the Holy Spirit. And something in my heart told me that there are souls that need God in my school, so I brought the scripture to my school and prayed for 15 girls in my school, and 7 got saved, then yesterday three more new girls have gotten saved. Gabie was uninterested, but she accepted Christ, wanted to go to church, wanted a Bible and wanted everything available. I’ve been saved 3 months now, and I led 3 people to the Lord on the beach.All of them stood out to me they were very grateful, and appreciative. I’m hoping to see them here tonight. I prayed the prayer of salvation for 12 people who accepted the Lord. The first gentleman I prayed with pointed out his friend that he wanted me to lead to Jesus.

2 youth from our young adult group knocked on a door and a lady opened the door and began to breakdown as the 2 youth read the script. She told them she was in the kitchen holding a knife contemplating death because her marriage is in trouble. She felt worthless and thought the only solution was death. She wanted to talk to someone and ask for help, and that’s when the doorbell rang. She was saved from suicide and was crying and happy.

I met the friend that I had been praying for in high school in Fortuna, CA. His mom first said the prayer and he came out of the store and we recognized each other. He said the prayer too. I was very amazed. 3 people from the same family all got saved on the same day. Had amazing favor at the high school. In the gym were basketball team, cheerleaders, soccer, baseball, football team, and the band. A total of 275 souls saved.

On several occasions the Lord has laid it on my heart to contact your prayer ministry via the internet to pray with me concerning various matters. And in every case I have always seen the Lord meet and honor my request. Recently a few weeks ago the Lord told me to send a prayer request to your ministry regarding the 7th Annual Weekend Retreat my ministry Repairing The Breach Ministries had on Oct 31 – Nov 2nd. It was the first retreat that my Mentor and Spiritual Covering was not attending. I knew the day would come that I would have to step out and not depend on the anointing on her life but trust God and the anointing he has placed on my life. Well one of the things I asked the Lord to do was to pour out his joy on the meeting. I personally wanted to experience his joy and I also wanted it for those that attended the retreat. Well the first thing that God did was he confirmed what he said my ministry would be used for. He told me years ago that the ministry was for leaders to come and find rest, liberty and joy. Well there were over 20 leaders at this meeting and Pastors were rolling on the floor with joy and laughter. The liberty of the Lord was so awesome in the meeting until the people were completely unglued. In fact, the word of the Lord came and he said in the meeting that he was so pleased with us, that even the mites in the rug praised him. I just want to thank you for your prayers of agreement. I also believe that when I came for the 2006 Summer Meeting that something happened to my life and I believe that joy got on me and my ministry and now its been poured out on others. Touched by God sitting in my seat. Next morning, came off of morphine which I had been on for over 1.5 yrs. No side effects, no withdraw, no systems failure. Came out of wheel chair. No more use for cane. Physician verified. Caused Dr. to believe in God! Came off of disability insurance. Emotional healing from raising son w/high functioning autism. He too received healing in Dec 07. Completely different person! All people with Autistic Disorders needs to soak at The River and allow God to heal the neuro centers!! Watch what God can do! Jesus healed me from an illness that doctors could not even detect. Doctors did not know what was wrong with me, but Jesus knew and He healed me. Thanks Joseph

We had an awesome time this past Sunday, December 13, 2009, in the children’s ministry at the River at Tampa Bay Church.  Children and their parents were getting saved, healed, and set free!  It was nothing like your average children’s church.  The children were laughing and having the time of their lives as they learned a valuable message.  Joe Manno did an awesome job teaching the children about Jesus’ death and resurrection.  His presentation was energetic and captivated the attention of the youthful audience.  The presence of God was so thick in that building.  Each word that came out of Joe’s mouth was anointed and as a result over 170 children accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. 

Not only did the children and parents get saved, but hundreds of less fortunate families received toys and food that they otherwise would not have had.

I have been hearing testimonies from our bus ministry that the children and their parents had totally different attitudes when the got on the bus to go home than they did when they got on the bus earlier that morning to go to church.  You could literally see the joy of the Lord on their faces.  This is not because they had received a toy or a box of food.  It is because they had received food for their souls and a gift from heaven.  This is something they can share with anyone they come in contact with.  People will want to know what they have!

I have also heard testimonies from our food ministry that the families who received a box of food were ministered to on sowing and reaping.  These important life principles were instilled in them so that they might be a blessing to someone in their community which, in turn, could result in them sharing the gospel with them as well.

This is what Revival Ministries is all about:  lighting the fire in the hearts of God’s people to win the lost.

There aren’t a lot of things better than exercise to keep every one of us feeling, thinking, and looking more youthful than we are. For just about ten years, my other half and I lived in a home in Dallas, Texas, found about a quarter of a mile from the respected Cooper Aerobics Center that was set up by my longtime chum and surgeon, Dr Kenneth Cooper. Not only did I enjoy the fantastic facilities—especially the one-mile track that runs thru those stunning grounds, around a lake where ducks and swans make their home—but every time we might drive by, we’d see ladies and men of every age zealously walking and running, lifting weights, and using the gear. Not occasionally, we’d see smiling people who were in their 80s and even their 90s faithfully staying at it. By the point we meet him in this section of the Scriptures, he’d reached the age of 85.

I’m still as powerful today as I was in the day Moses sent me” ( Joshua 14:10-11 ). He was referring to the time when Moses sent the spies into the land of Canaan to test things out before the Hebrews attacked the Guaranteed Land to make claims it as their own. So, about forty five years had elapsed since all that occurred, and Caleb was declaring how healthy he was. The very last thing Caleb needed to do was find a rocking chair and kick back. That is the sort of can-do angle and resolution that keeps us healthy for 85 years.

I’m going to tell you without hesitation that one of my major goals in life is to become adult as I age.

A worthy etching on a gravestone would be : “Here lies a person who kept growing as he kept aging.” Growing up and growing old need to stroll hand in hand.

Never doubt it : maturing is a slow, difficult process.

Job accomplished it ; he reached that goal.

No wonder we read that he died an old man and full of days. He lived the remainder of his 140 years full of fervour and zeal. We are able to view it as an intrusion, a concern, or we are able to see it as a chance to reply in particular obedience to God’s will—that craggy virtue James calls “endurance.”. It’s a choice in the middle of our suffering to do what God has asked us to do, whatever it is, and for so long as He asks us to do it.

As Oswald Chambers wrote, “To choose suffering makes little sense at all ; to select God’s will in the middle of our suffering makes all of the sense in the world.”. Where are you today? Where is your journey leading you? More importantly, which option have you chosen? Are you viewing your trial as a concern or an opportunity? Try seriously not to forget the lessons Job teaches us about ourselves. And, rather than simply reading about the life of Job, begin living that sort of life. That makes all of the sense in the world, doesn’t it?
